The Daimyo’s personal guard. Willing to give their lives without a second thought, Hatamoto warriors are the most loyal troops anyone could wish for. Elite fighters who trained all their life to become masters in their field, they make their way through enemy troops without fear of death, and they’re always ready to take their Daimyo out of a sticky situation.

On top of being experts in the arts of combat, Hatamoto are also proficient in all kinds of disciplines. Since they received the complete Samurai training, they’re poets, artists, economists, strategists, and politicians. They also strive to achieve a deeper connection with the world through meditation.

The Hatamoto get to carry heavy armor to battle; an extra layer of protection that keeps them safe from enemy projectiles. They also display up high the emblem of their clan, inspiring troops to keep fighting.
