Yabusame Archer
Yabusame archers are some of the deadliest and most evasive troops in all of Japan. Their flexibility provides an immense strategic advantage both to intercept troops and to take down opponents in a vulnerable position.
The practice of mounted archery wasn’t born in Japan. It was actually taken from the Ainu people; tribesmen who lived in the north and were known for their devastating guerrilla tactics.
However, ever since Japanese adapted the technique, they perfected it to the point that it has now become one of the staples of their military force.
Yabusame archers are lethal warriors that excel in most scenarios. Even in large scale battles, these units can easily chip away at enemy forces while they keep their distance, thus disrupting enemy troops.
