Oni

Terrifying demons deployed only by those who are not afraid of messing with shadow forces they don’t understand. 

Oni’s were a major threat during the first demonic invasions. Back then, they had come out of the “other side” and swept through the disorganized clans. They suddenly became a force to be reckoned with and couldn’t be defeated until all the clans joined together.

Now that the country is on the verge of civil war again, Oni have begun to appear. They attack and pillage isolated villages.

The few folks that survived talk about demonic apparitions — acts of pure cruelty and carnage that defy the imagination of even the most seasoned warriors.

Some warlords, however, see enormous potential in the Oni. They were able to recruit them and make them fight for their side.
